Main Mission

As an instructor in work-related practice, you will work closely with participants and provide them with continuous pedagogical support and guidance in a skills-enhancing purpose, concerning the various professional roles/tasks within the units of Vehicles, Storage and Workshop, Operations and Maintenance, and Operations and Projects. The position involves working practically alongside the participants. In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues and team leaders within the relevant units.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position belongs to the unit of Vehicles, Storage, and Workshop, which also includes Work-Related Practice. As an instructor, you will work with various assignments within the unit but also on assignments from other units within Service Delivery and other municipal operations.

The instructor receives interns and helps them with their establishment in the labor market by:

• working operationally alongside interns within the various assignments, which include both regular maintenance tasks and point interventions
• working closely with the interns in the operation and contributing to their growth and development in the work
• participating in, following up, and instructing the interns in risk measures for a safe and healthy working environment
• participating in follow-ups with the municipality's labor market unit

The job responsibilities range from storage work, repairs of small machines and bicycles to deliveries.

You will have close collaboration with three other instructors, and in addition to your work with guidance, you will work together on development, routines, and coordination to drive the operations forward.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in your role as an instructor, you need to be flexible and able to work in a team. You need to meet people with understanding for their different needs and create a safe space where the interns can develop.

It is of great importance that you are responsible and solution-focused and see the opportunities to create the best possible conditions. Openness and care are two of our core values that we place great emphasis on.

You need to be able to work practically alongside the interns with the assignments we receive and ensure that the assignments are carried out in a qualitative manner.

You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good IT skills.
